The lake lies secluded in a beautiful and tranquil valley; a fold within North Devon’s rolling countryside. Rainbow Trout are stocked all year, with Brown Trout stocked from April to September. All trout are produced at Blakewell, so anglers will be guaranteed razor finned hard fighting trout and plenty of them.
We offer a full range of fly fishing equipment from the tackle room. Snowbee fly rods and lines, and their fly reels are exceptional quality at a good price, and we are happy for you to take the chosen combination out onto the lake and try before you buy.
Tackle hire is available; the full combination. If you are just starting, or left your kit at home, we carry all the tackle needed to hire for a days fishing.
Bring the family and catch some trout, it is a great family experience. You can always just have a go at feeding the fish. We are a fully working fish farm; learn about Trout and Carp production from egg to adult stage.
