Cast your flies on untroubled waters!

The Launceston Anglers Association is a friendly club with a membership of more than 60 members, comprising a strong nucleus of local anglers, boosted by a membership that stretches to the Home Counties and beyond.

The club has at its disposal almost 13 miles of fishing which covers the River Tamar, where on various beats anglers can fish for grayling, trout, sea trout and salmon; the Carey, again for trout and grayling; and the Inny where the club owns almost 2.5 miles of fishing, a further 1.5 miles, which it rents (in close proximity to Launceston), plus some 2.5 miles at Beals Mill, (south of Launceston) to its junction with the Tamar opposite the famous Endsleigh Estate beats.

The club offers day tickets to most of its beats on the Tamar, Carey and Inny which can be obtained from Launceston Sports (www.launcestonsports.co.uk), and Lewannick Post Office. The Association also takes part in the Westcountry Rivers Trust Angling 2000 scheme from whom day tickets can also be obtained (www.wrt.org.uk).
