Coarse Fishing
Silver Springs coarse lake was constructed 7 years ago and has matured well. It is 4.5 acres and averages 10ft in depth. There are 10 designated swims spaced 30ft apart along one bank with the other two banks being for the angler who prefers a bit of cover. It will comfortably accommodate 20 anglers. The tench and carp have bred consistently and there is a good variety of sizes. The winter fishing produces quality rudd , roach and along with a good head of chub and huge F1s there are big skimmers that still like to get their heads down even in the colder weather and it makes for good fishing all year round. Disabled access is also catered for, and the flat, even banks are suitable for wheelchair use
Carp Fishing
The carp lake is 2.5 acres and averages 5ft in depth; it has one long island through the middle which has a hole either end dropping down to 7ft. It can comfortably accommodate 10 anglers, and there are reedbeds and rush areas that are ideal for stalking and a few areas with water lilies and bogbean.
