Lakeside Fishery

Lakeside Fishery and nature reserve at Lower Maddaford is surrounded by beautiful, unspoiled countryside. Rich in wildlife, with far reaching views of Dartmoor National Park, it's a haven of peace and quiet covering almost 20 acres.

There are two fishing lakes at Lower Maddaford:

Our two acre Lake 'Moorhen' is ideal for the absolute beginner who can expect to catch some good quality fish at their first attempt. This match lake is well-stocked with Mirror, Common, Ghost, and Koi Carp, plus Tench, Rudd, Roach and Perch.

At approximately four acres in size, Lake 'Kingfisher' is stocked with Common and Mirror Carp up to 20 lbs, which provides the ultimate fishing experience for the more serious fisherman.

Toilet facilities are available on site. Full rules are available at the fishery and should be followed at all times.
