Stafford Moor Fishery

Stafford Moor Fishery is situated near Winkleigh in Devon and offers superb fishing in a mature sixty seven acre estate. The specimen and coarse lakes are heavily stocked with a variety of healthy fish including Mirror, Ghost, and Common Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, perch and Eels. Each lake offers great fishing whether you are a beginner or more experienced angler and has a good amount of pegs to choose from. We offer a range of day tickets and open all year. Night Fishing is available but by arrangement only. Match competitions are held at Stafford Moor Fishery and dates can be found on our web site.

Tanners Lake

A gorgeous 5 acre lake dotted with islands, carp to 14lbs, ghost mirrors and commons provide rod bending action all year round, plus possibly the best silver sport in the Southwest for roach and skimmers with 100lb weights regularly taken.

Beatties Lake

Now has 400 double figure carp to 32lb, an 8 acre lake with only 11 swims providing angler’s room to fish 3 rods for their catch of a life time.

Woodpecker Lake

Is a pleasure anglers dream, carp to 20lb plus, big tench and bream also huge eels to 7lbs. The match record on woody is almost 300lb.

Joseph’s Lake

Completely wild lake with great predator sport perch to 5lbs and many other surprises that haunt the mangroves of this truly most idyllic lake.

Pines Lake

Pretty sheltered lake where you can reach the many islands with the pole and catch tench, crucians, huge roach and rudd making this a silver anglers haven.
