Wessex Water has many waters which offer day ticket fishing in the South West area. Whether it is wet or dry fly, carp, match, pike or pleasure fishing you are after, we have a venue for you. All anglers at our fisheries require an Environment Agency (EA) rod licence as well as a Wessex Water permit to fish available from our lodges. Clatworthy Reservoir - Situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park, Clatworthy reservoir lies in the Brendon Hills, west Somerset. Undulating hills surround the water, offering a scenic setting for fishing and walking. Clatworthy is 130 acre reservoir and is well stocked with rainbow and brown trout. The reservoir is open from 23 March – 30 October 2016 with various permits available. A wheely boat is available for use on this water. Durleigh Reservoir - Durleigh is the only one of our reservoirs which is dedicated to day ticket coarse fishing. It's ideal for the angler seeking to catch carp, pike, bream and roach and is known as ‘a coarse angling mecca’. Hawkridge Reservoir - If you favour smaller waters, Hawkridge is the place to fish with a level and variety of sport to rival the best in the UK. Situated on the edge of the Quantock Hills, the reservoir is stocked with a variety of rainbows, browns, tigers, golden and blue trout as well as arctic char and offers depths of up to 21 metres. Sutton Bingham Reservoir - Sutton Bingham reservoir is set in the rolling hills of the Somerset and Dorset border, where the lay of the land and the geography of the reservoir conceal the extent of the reservoir’s reach. Sutton Bingham reservoir is 142 acre reservoir and stocked with rainbow and brown trout. The reservoir is open 10 February – 11 September 2016. Various permits are available.
