70 acres plus. Fishing only permitted in locations shown on licence.Species:
Carp 30lb+, Roach and Rudd 2lb+, Pike, Mullet, Tench, Eels and Perch.Permits:
Reels and Deals, 61b St. Thomas Street, Weymouth: 01305 787848. Weymouth Angling Centre, 2 St. Edmonds Street, Weymouth: 01305 777771. Permits must be shown to RLAS bailiff on request. Bailiffs carry ID card.
Charges:
Per season charges: Adult £55, Junior (17 and under) £30, OAP/Disabled £40 (must show badge or disabled rod licence). No overnight fishing on day tickets. Per week charges: All tickets £25. Per day charges: Adult £6, Junior £6, OAP/Disabled £6. Tickets are half price from 1st December to 14th March except day tickets.
Season:
16 June - 14 March. Parts of the lake are shut in winter for rare birds. See permit for more details. No angler may fish for more than 72 hours in one swim. They must move if they wish to continue fishing.Methods:
3 rod max, no lead weights, no live baiting, barbless hooks only, bivvies and keepnets permitted, no Carp over 3lb to be kept in keepnets. Lead weights can be used if over 28 grams. No fires or BBQ's.Nearest Town:
