Fishing Details

Water: 
Over 7 miles of chalkstream on the River Wylye (including carriers) and 3 miles on River Till.
Species: 
Wild Brown Trout, fish of 2-3lb caught every season. New record 2008 7lb 5.5oz. Average 12oz to 1.5lb. Large head of Grayling to over 2lb 12oz.
Permits: 

Season membership only via Secretary.

Charges: 

Prices on application to secretary by email please.

Season: 
Trout 16 April to 15 October. Grayling 16 June to 14 March.
Methods: 
Trout: Dry fly and upstream nymph only. Grayling: Dry fly and upstream nymph only in Trout season. Trotting also allowed from 15th October to 14th March. Barbless hooks.
