Fishing Details

Water: 
Rackerhayes Complex - consists of 6 waters:Island Pond, Wheel Pond, First Pond,Linhay, Dores & Weedy pond. Disabled toilet facilities at Rackerhayes.
Species: 
Island Pond: most species, Tench over 10lb. Good sized Roach, Rudd, Pike, Bream and Eels. First Pond: Good head of Carp to 20lb, Tench, Roach, Bream etc. and a large number of Jack Pike. Wheel Pond: Carp to 14lb, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Golden Orfe, Tench and occasional small Pike. Linhay Pond: Most coarse species with some excellent Bream. Dores Pond: Very large head of Carp to 30lb, superb Tench averaging 6lb and up to 11lb 15oz. Weedy Pond: Most coarse fish including good Tench and some large Carp.
Permits: 

Please note Dores Pond: Available to Full members only. Other Rackenhayes waters open for day ticket fishing to non members.For Club Membership at the comittees discretion. Everyone must have a valid EA rod licence when fishing. Membership runs from January 1st.

Charges: 

Senior Full Member: aged 18 to OAP ((State Pension Age) on 1st January. Cost £90 Concession (Disabled/OAP) Full Members and Young Full Members aged 16 up to 18 Cost £45 Junior Full Members: (under 16) Cost £10 Day Tickets (Temporary Membership Status) 24hr Ticket – £16 Senior Day Tickets (dawn – dusk) – £9.Junior Day Tickets (dawn – dusk) – £3.Association Padlock Key – £2 (Purchase from Tackle Trader Wharf Road, Newton Abbot *Updated 07/2022.
