The Total Fly Fishing Company is based in Tisbury, near Salisbury, Wiltshire. It offers the highest possible standard of professional trout and salmon casting instruction, escorted and guided gamefishing in the UK and abroad, and the arrangement of bespoke corporate days. All instruction and fishing is tailored specifically to meet clients requirements. Much of the trout fishing is focused on the Southern England chalk streams, such as the Test, Itchen and Avon.

The Directors comprise two Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors (AAPGAI Salmon & Trout), David Griffiths and James Mills, and John Hotchkiss, who is qualified as a Game Angling Instructors Association (GAIA) Level 2 trout instructor. David, the M.D, has over 50 years of fly fishing experience, and James, the Technical Director, is considered one of the very best technical masters in fly casting in this country. John, the Marketing Director, in addition to having worldwide gamefishing experience, is also well-known as the producer of the highly successful television fly-fishing series, “The Take”.

The company’s ethos is to provide highly professional & top quality fly fishing tuition and fishing opportunities at best value for money. We hope that our many years of experience, will enable clients to enhance their technical fly casting skills, their knowledge of gamefishing, tackle & fly selection & rivercraft skills.We welcome all comers from the age of eight years upwards, but minors must be escorted by an appropriate adult. Casting instruction takes place on casting platforms on a beautiful private lake on the Fonthill estate (near Salisbury), where the beginner, the rusty, the frustrated and the advanced, are taught in a stress-free, fun and most enjoyable environment.

The 2006 season includes: the arrangement of bespoke corporate days; group or individual trout & salmon casting/fishing courses of instruction; facilitation of salmon fishing in Norway, Iceland & Canada; saltwater flyfishing in Cuba and Costa Rica; salmon/sea trout fishing in Wales and Scotland; brown trout fishing in New Zealand.
