Fishing

We have recently purchased Cotness Fishing Lake situated in John's Wood just 2 miles from the hotel set in a tranquil and beautiful environment, bought not only to improve the quality of your stay, but also to help you maximize your enjoyment and appreciation of the local countryside. The lake is well stocked with Common Carp – 30lb, Mirror Carp – 30lb, Roach - 2.l, Perch - 4.5lb, Tench – 4lb and Rudd - 1.5lb.Hotel residents have free use of the lake during their stay. Whilst fishing we do ask that you abide by our rules for the fishing lake as listed below.

Rules
• Fishing - dawn-dusk (no night fishing)
• Unhooking mat to be used for unhooking carp
• Barbless hooks only
• No Rods to be left unattended
• No Trout pellets
• No keep nets
• Landing nets must be knotless
• Please use net dip
• Ensure that you do not leave litter
• Under 16 - you must be supervised by an adult.
