Nestling in 65-acre wooded valley in Cornwall, alongside two game fishing rivers Wainsford Estate is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful enchanting area of Cornwall. The estate is surrounded with an abundant of wildlife, and many attractions including the famous Eden Project which are all within easy driving. Walks, rivers and lakes are all within the Wainsford Estate.
Self catering cottages are available on the estate, all well equipped and with views of either the lakes or the River Fowey.

Loveny Cottage (Sleeps 6) - Overlooks 2 lakes and the River Fowey, a very spacious centrally heated cottage with fully fitted kitchen/diner and lounge. The master bedroom has en-suite shower room, 2 further bedrooms and family bathroom on the first floor.

Peal Cottage (sleeps 6) - With views from lounge overlooking meadow and lakes. A centrally heated cottage incorporating an open plan living room/dining room with beamed ceiling and fully fitted kitchen. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room on the ground floor. Two bedrooms (1 with bunk beds) and family bathroom on the first floor. This cottage is let through Farm and Country Holidays (Please quote Ref: property code WAINS).

Parr Cottage (sleeps 6) - With views over river Fowey. On the ground floor master bedroom with en-suite shower room, 2 bedrooms and family bathroom. First floor Lounge/Diner and fully fitted kitchen.

Gamekeepers Cottage (sleeps 2) - A unique hideaway cottage tucked by the banks of the Warleggan River with its own private access and parking. Lounge area with open fireplace, kitchen/diner. Bedroom with en-suite shower room (heated towel rail) and French doors to two deck areas.
All cottages have linen and towels provided and include BBQ and parking area.

Fishing at Wainsford Estate

Wainsford offers private fishing within the estate for Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout. 1 mile double bank plus 1 mile of single bank water on the River Fowey divided into beats which alternate daily. The River Warleggan runs through the estate too, you have exclusive fishing on this excellent stream. The 2 estate lakes offer first class Rainbow and Brown Trout fishing. Although fishing is mainly fly fishing other methods are allowed when appropriate.
