Anne Voss-Bark has owned and run the hotel since 1961 and this year celebrates her 45 years at The Arundell Arms. This is the place where people come to relax and enjoy some of the loveliest countryside in Devon. The hotel has 18 beautifully decorated rooms and 3 superior, many with views of the terraced garden, all with en suite facilities.

One of Englands Premier fishing hotels with over 20 miles of water on the Tamar and its tributaries plus our 3 acre lake stocked with brown and rainbow trout to 9lb.

Here you can fish a mile of river for wild brown trout. In the late spring, the first salmon come and by mid-summer shoals of sea trout bring out the night fishers. Fishing from the shore for bass and other marine fish can be arranged.

We have two full-time instructors, Roy Buckingham & David Pilkington both fully qualified with the Salmon and Trout Association and A.P.G.A.I .

The Arundell Arms is near the Dartmoor National Park, a popular destination for walking and horse riding. Golf enthusiasts can test their skills on the area’s lovely courses.
