Cokerhurst Farm is a 16th century farmhouse located near Bridgwater in the heart of Somerset.
The farm is within striking distance of the M5, making it easy to reach and providing the ideal base for exploring the whole of the west of England and opening up some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in the country.
This part of historic Somerset has more than its fair share of museums, National Trust houses and places of interest to visit. The busy seaside resorts of Weston-super-Mare, Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea are only a short run away as well as many unspoilt coves and bays along both coasts.
The busy market town of Taunton is also nearby, home of the famous Somerset Cricket Club. Cokerhusrt Farm offers B & B and over looks the fishing lake, there are three spacious, comfortable bedrooms in the traditional, stone built farmhouse. All bedrooms are en-suite and have tea /coffee facilities.
There are good local pubs which offer excellent food and drink not to far from the farm. In the peace & quiet of the farm and the surrounding countryside you can lose yourself down by the lake and do a spot of fishing.
The fishing lake is approx 0.75 acres and is well stocked with Carp up to 25lb. A reduced rate for the fishing is offered to guests when staying here, day tickets are also available to the general public. Night fishing is also available by prior arrangement.
