Meadow Lakes is situated in 56 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, close to St Austell & many of Cornwall’s top tourist attractions. Close to Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Helligan & the fishing village of Mevagissey.
Fishing at Meadow Lakes
4 coarse fishing lakes, two 2 acre lakes and two 1 acre lakes, are generously stocked with a fine head of mixed coarse species and provide free fishing for visitors staying overnight at Meadow Lakes Holiday Park. No day tickets are allowed so the fishing is relaxed and unpressured. The fishing is superb with Ghost Carp (up to 26 pounds), Common Carp (up to 18 pounds), Mirror Carp (up to 10 pounds), Bream (up to 4.8 pounds), Roach and Rudd (up to 2 pounds), Eels (up to 6 pounds - must go back in the lake alive), Tench (at 1 pound) and the best fish are the Perch (at 4.5 pounds) in 2 acre lakes.
- Fisherman must have valid National Rod License
- Permit must be obtained from reception
- Barbless hooks has to be used
- No Boileys, nuts or cat food
- Night fishing allowed
- Parking is not allowed near the lakes unless you have a blue disabled badge
Accommodation
Meadow Lakes offers lodges, caravans and bungalows to rent, facilities for tenting & touring and holiday caravans and lodges to buy.
The facilities include Outdoor heated swimming pool, Indoor & outdoor play areas, Playbarn, On site shop, Wi-fi internet and Pets corner. Dogs are welcome with a designated dog walk area. Meadow Lakes is open from 19th March - 31st October.
