South Reed Farmhouse is set in 33 acres of Devon's most attractive farmland with magnificent panoramic views of Dartmoor. The 6 beautiful self catering barn conversion cottages are located in the glorious Devon countryside with the moors nearby and the seaside only 30 mins drive away. The fishing is relaxed and no day tickets are allowed so holiday makers in the 6 cottages have all the fishing to themselves. There are many delightful good value pubs and restaurants in the area. The cottages were created from original farm buildings and give a real Devon feel to your stay.

Bramble Cottage
(sleeps 7) Consists of: Ground Floor: 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, lobby. First Floor: Open plan kitchen/dining, lounge area, gas central heating.
Threshers Cottage
(sleeps 5) Consists of: Ground Floor: Open plan dining/lounge and kitchen area, double bedroom and shower ensuite. First Floor: Unique style balcony bedroom with double and single bed and bathroom, gas central heating.
Old Mill Cottage
(sleeps 3) Consists of: Ground Floor: Kitchen with steps to bathroom, dining/lounge area.
First Floor: Unique style balcony bedroom, gas central heating.
Thimble Hall
(sleeps 2) Consists of: Ground Floor: Open plan dining/lounge and kitchen area, 1 double bedroom and shower suite, gas central heating.

Fishing at South Reed is free to guests staying in the holiday cottages. South Reed has 2 excellent well stocked fishing lakes; 1 acre mixed fishing with carp up to 23lb. ½ acre with carp, tench and bream only. We specialise in quiet relaxing holidays and it is safe to leave your fishing tackle by the lakes, while you return to your cottage to eat etc. The Farm has Donkeys, Mares and Foals, young Show jumpers, chickens, ducks and at various times of the sheep and cattle.
