Milemead Lakes and Tackle, Tavistock - Devon

 

Milemead Fishery is located 2 miles from the historic town of Tavistock, 3 miles from spectacular Dartmoor and offers Specimen Carp, Catfish and Coarse Fishing. Milemead has a very well stocked shop selling tackle and bait from leading brands such as Korda, Fox, Guru, Nash, Sticky Baits, Mainline and Dynamite Baits' From a pint of maggots, to a packet of hooks or even a new bivvy, we've got you covered! 'At Milemead we also have a Glamping Pod ( For more info on booking the Glamping pod ) which sleeps 2 and well equipped for your stay. Ladies and gents toilets, and shower available onsite.

 

The fishery has 5 waters and Pre booking and pre payment essential.

 

Carp & Silvers Lake - which is 2 acres and well stocked with Carp to 20lbs, Roach, Bream, Crucians and Tench.

 

Canal & Basin is ½ acre and is very well stocked with smaller fish making this a great family or beginner lake.

 

Specimen Carp Lake is 2 acres and stocked with 130 Carp from 10lbs up to 34lbs.

 

Cat & Carp Lake is 2 acres in size and stocked with 300 Carp to 30lbs, including Grass Carp to 25lbs, Wels Catfish to 40lbs+

 

Boat Lake is 1 acre for which a bait boat is needed to access all parts of this lake. Exclusive booking for Boat lake for 2 or 3 anglers only. The lake is stocked with Carp to 25lbs+, Grass Carp to 25lbs+.
