Seymour Fishery, Highbridge - Somerset

Seymour Fishery is located less than 1 mile from Huntspill River on the outskirts of the Somerset levels. The lake is set in a natural environment and offers peace and tranquillity whilst fishing here.

The lake is made up of numerous different substrates, weed, silt, gravel, clay, lilly pads, making the fishing challenging, this is not a fishery for beginners. Previous experience of fishing weedy venues is essential.

There are 5 swims on the venue – Kingfisher Corner, Mozzie Bay, Mallard Island, Lilly Inlet and Heron Point (Please note we allow a maximum of 4 anglers on any one booking). The Coarse lake is well stocked with healthy fighting fish including Carp, Grass Carp, Rudd, Perch, Pike and Eels.

There is a toilet/shower block situated by the car park where you have access to mains electric and a fridge. We do ask that you follow our fishery rules which are available to view on the Seymour Fishery website and to book your slot this can be done through our ONLINE booking form on the website 

Meet and Greet - we always like to meet and greet our customers on bookings, normally a 7am greeting on the day of arrival works for us, this allows us to show you around the complex and answer any questions you may have. Don’t forget, mats, nets and slings are all provided on arrival.
