Fishing Details

Water:

Tinhay Lake -Three acre private lake for Hotel residents only. 20 miles of river fishing on Tamar, Lyd, Carey, Thrushel, Wolf, Ottery and Lew. Day permits available for non-residents on our river beats.

Species:

Rainbow & Brown Trout in lake. Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout and Grayling on rivers.

Permits:

Arundell Arms. Cockpit Tackle Shop open 9-10am and 6.30-7.00pm daily in the season.

Charges:

Tinhay Lake £45 per rod per day (four-fish bag limit),£22.50 per rod per half-day (two-fish bag limit),Residents only on lake.

Season:

Open all year (lake). Rivers: Trout 15th March to 30th September. Sea Trout 3rd March to 30th September. Salmon 1st March to 14th October. Grayling October 1st - March 14th.

Methods:

Fly only on lake and rivers.
