Christchurch Angling Club controlled stretch of the lower Avon above Christchurch. Approx. 3.5 miles double bank.

Barbel 12lb plus, Chub 7lb 7oz, Dace 1lb, Pike 25lb, Carp 26lb, Roach 3lb, Perch 3lb.

From local tackle shops.

Charges:

Day ticket £6. £3 Conc/Junior. (2 rods per day, coarse only).

Season:

Coarse: 16 June to 14 March from one hour before sunrise to two hours after sunset.

Methods:

No spinning. Coarse fish only. No Barbel in keepnets. Any Salmon, Sea Trout or Salmon Parr caught accidentally should be returned immediately.
