Fishing Details

Water:

Bristol Channel, Hartland Point, North Devon to St Davids Head, Dyfed (all tidal waters eastwards).

Species:

All sea fish, both boat and shore records, yearly update. 56 different species recorded in major (over 1lb) record list, 16 different species in mini (under 1lb) record list. Conservation awards in place, for fish caught and returned alive.

Charges:

£50 per CLUB per year inclusive of shore activities insurance.

Season:

All year round activities, shore and boat contests, small boat section with inter-club activities.

Methods:

Fishing to specimen sizes, all specimen fish awarded certificate, best of species annually, plus fish of the month. Team & Individual annual awards. Charter Boat contests only - touch trace rules. All fish returned alive. Shore contests, catch and release, all fish returned alive, points in place of weight.
