Fosfelle Country House, Hartland - Devon

Fosfelle Country House is nestled in the most beautiful area of North Devon in the village of Hartland and is the perfect base for exploring the Devon/Cornish coast. Hartland’s village centre is just a 10 min walk and boasts 3 pubs, all dog friendly and serve good food, the local shop stocks a good selection of basic requirements, there is a Post Office too as well as a lovely coffee shop serving very tasty food and snacks. Here at Fosfelle we want you to totally relax and enjoy your break and we have a range of self-catering accommodation to choose from when staying with us.

 

Bramble Cottage - A cosy first floor apartment that sleeps 4 - Situated adjacent to Fosfelle House Reception. Bramble is accessed via external stone steps which afford stunning sunsets. The accommodation comprises a shower room, double bedroom, a smaller second bedroom with bunk beds, kitchenette and dining area. Rowan Cottage - A 3 Bedroom, 2 storey cottage sleeping 6, comprising an en-suite double bedroom plus another double and a twin bedroom sharing a second shower room. In addition to a comfortable ground floor seating area with sofa bed, kitchen with dishwasher and W.C. Quince Cottage - Quince is a 2 Bedroom ground floor apartment and ideal for those with mobility concerns. The accommodation sleeps 3 people across 1 double and 1 single bedroom. The shower room is accessed off the kitchenette, which in turn is accessed from the lounge/dining area. This is the most accessible of our cottages. All three apartments have an outdoor seating area with a gated and fenced area for dogs.

 

If Glamping is your thing we have Bertrams Hotel which is a converted red double decker bus which sleeps 4/5 comprising of a downstairs shower room, seating area with 2 single beds to the rear. Upstairs comprises a seating area, kitchenette and a King sized bed area.  Joseph Multi-Colour Dream Coach sleeps 2 and is a romantic option with the usual comforts of a shower room, kitchenette and seating area. Joseph is situated at the top end of the paddock overlooking the site which has a great view of the paddock, ponds and the valley beyond. We have 5 pitches for caravan or Motorhomes - all of which enjoy hard standing, picnic tables, water and electricity. There is a hot tub on site which can be booked for a small fee and on-site shower and toilet provided in our quirky Hobbit Huts for use by our guests.

 

Fosfelle have 2 fishing ponds which are stocked with a selection of coarse fish which you are more than welcome to fish. The surrounding areas have an abundance of Coarse, Carp that do Day tickets and nearby Clovelly and Ifracombe offer Sea fishing trips. Please see more information at the bottom of the advert.
