Thorney Lakes Coarse Fishing & Campsite - Somerset

Thorney Lakes offers Camping, Caravanning, Motorhome and Coarse fishing breaks on our 7 acre camp site on a traditional cider orchard, so nice and level with electric hook ups. Camping is just a short walk from our two coarse fishing Lakes which  are two acres each, stocked with a selection of coarse fish including large Carp up to 25lbs, Bream, Roach, Tench, Gudgeon, Goldfish, Chub, Perch, and Eels.

• Bait & small selection of tackle sold onsite
• No Landing Mats
• Toilets & Solar powered showers on site, wood pellet boiler run family rooms.
• Pitch where you like on our camp site -you can group your tents caravans and motorhomes together if you wish.
• Washing up facilities 
• Both lakes are closed at night
• Anglers should be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence
• Only 2 rods per person
• No RC boats
• No Pre Baiting
• No Night Fishing
• No Swimming
• All fish to be returned
• All dogs to be kept on a short lead
• Use the toilets provided
• No Fish Traps, No Fires or BBQ's
• Only coarse bait to be used, No Braided line, No Nuts/beans/floating baits, cat or dog food
• Landing nets to be used for all fish
• No fixed leads, all leads to be free running, Strictly barbless hooks only(size 6 max)
• Unhooking mats or cradles must be used for ALL fish. All nets, mats and cradles must be dipped
• Fish only the swim in front of you not across the other side of the lake
• No litter to be left on the bank or woodland(use the bin provided or better still take it home)
• Consideration and sportsmanship to be given to other anglers at all time

Fishing Prices

£10 per day - £6 per half day

£8 per day for OAP's & children

under 16 Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
