JOIN THE TURNER TWINS AT QUEEN ANNE’S BATTERY PLYMOUTH FOR A TWO-DAY OCEAN CONSERVATION WORKSHOP 
 
From August 27th - 28th, professional adventurers Ross and Hugo will be docking at Queen Anne’s Battery Marina in Plymouth, to raise awareness of the fragility of our oceans through fun workshops, beach cleans and documentary screenings.

On Wednesday May 13th 2020  permitted outdoor exercise includes social distanced angling!  But first please check fisheries are open and be sure to read and follow guidance and current advice from Angling Trust  whose #WhenWeFishAgain campaign and dedicated lobbying played a major part in the lifting of current restrictions.

Remember to Fish Safely and follow current guidelines and advice so we can all stay safe!

The Wheelyboat Trust and the Angling Trust are delighted to announce the second round of funding for four wheelchair accessible Wheelyboats is now open to angling clubs and fisheries across the UK. 
 

Plastic Patrol comes to Gylly Beach Falmouth on 21 September 2019

On Saturday 21 September 2019 Plastic Patrol, a global movement to eradicate single use plastic, is coordinating a series of clean ups across the UK as well as Europe, Brazil, Thailand, Mexico and the USA to mark World Clean Up Day. The goal is simple, but crucial: to run the first mass activity based clean up of its kind and collectively remove and record a whopping 250,000 pieces of rubbish from in nature in just 24 hours. Plastic Patrol comes to Falmouth to stage first mass clean-up of its kind on 21 September 2019.
