Ashmansworthy Pools – where your angling dreams become a reality.

Ashmansworthy Pools are three intimate waters stocked with pristine and hard-fighting Lana Springs Carp to over 32lb overlooking a stunning valley in rural North Devon.

These beautiful waters have been sympathetically designed by the experienced owners who have created a fantastic environment for like-minded anglers, as well as a haven for wildlife.

Little Farriers well known as ‘Farriers back Lake’ is located in the Cotswold Water Park. The lake has excess of 100 carp up to 43lbs along with scores of Tench and Rudd. The four-acre lake common with gravel pits, features clear water, rich in natural food living in the weed. There are just eight swims cut against a tree lined backdrop providing a more natural setting. The lake has a secure parking area with an approx. 400 meter walk to the lake, so we advise bringing a barrow!

The Carp Society invite you to lose yourself in the wild and beautiful 17-acre famous lake, Ashmead Fishery in Somerset. With mirror carp up to 50lbs and common carp to over 40lbs. A rural lake, Ashmead offers unrivalled fishing for some of the country’s finest carp in a unique and spectacular wetland that brings the angler close to nature in a wild environment.

• Non-residents: The lake is available to hire for 1 to 6 anglers maximum. No ‘extra’ anglers/friends are permitted on site at any time.
• Hire is a minimum of 48 hours at a cost of £250.

Wessex Water offer Game fishing on Sutton Bingham, Clatworthy and Hawkridge Reservoirs located in Somerset.

Clatworthy Reservoir

Clatworthy Reservoir is  130 acre reservoir and a haven for those who love to fly fish. The trout in the reservoir can often be found cruising just under the surface – a well-presented dry fly is often enough to produce a take.

Foxdown Coarse Fishing Lake is located approximately ¼ of a mile from the main A39 and ½ a mile from the coast near the village of Horns Cross near Bideford, North Devon.
Set in a natural habitat of beauty the lake offers some great fishing in a very tranquil setting - perfect to sit back and relax and enjoy!

Week Farm is located near Okehampton in Devon and offers Coarse fishing on 3 lakes. The Coarse fishing lakes are stocked with Mixed Carp including Common, Mirror, Crucian, Bream, Roach, Rudd & Green Tench. The lakes are 2 x 0.5 acre lakes and a 0.25 lake, which is ideal for youngsters. The fishing lakes are open all year, with night fishing by arrangement. Camping at Week Farm is permitted but only by prior arrangement.
